INTERREG III B CER² supported activities:
- Data collection about the usage of renewable energies (biomass, photovoltaics, wind energy, hydropower) in the district of Schwäbisch Hall
- Initialization of a biomass-cluster in the district of Schwäbisch Hall
- Analysis of the amount of renewable energy in the district of Schwäbisch Hall and energy concepts for the communities of the district.
- Development of an energy concept for the district of Schwäbisch Hall
- Development of a district heating concept based on the usage of renewable energy (wood pellets) for the community of Bühlerzell
- Usage of renewable energy (wood energy) for a district heating system in co-operation with the Maschinenringe of the district.
- Development of a concept and implementation of a pilot biomass plant by an consortium for CHP and district heating.
- Support of start-ups an SMEs in RES and RUE
- Support of "Green Electricity Quality Labels"
- Support of R&D activities
- Controlling of photovoltaics in the district of Schwäbisch Hall

The WFG offers consultings with the energieZENTRUM for:
- private clients
- agricultural clients
- commercial clients
- communal clients
in the field of renewable energy and energy savings.
The energieZENTRUM ist not directly supported by CER², but the CER2 program is managed by the energieZENTRUM.
